Defensive Handgun Level 2
Sharpen life-saving skills under stress—Because mobility saves lives. *See Group/Individual Pricing*
Service Description
This intermediate-level live-fire course forces you to perform critical handgun skills with one hand out of play, teaches drawing from compromised positions, and introduces reactionary shooting (delivering effective shots through the draw without a full sight picture). You’ll also learn and drill moving-and-shooting techniques — footwork, weapon control, and purposeful shot placement while mobile. What you’ll learn • One-handed manipulation: reliable presentations, reloads, and clearing malfunctions with your dominant and non-dominant hand. • Drawing from compromised/unsupported positions (seated, low, behind barriers). • Reactionary shooting fundamentals — delivering effective hits during the draw when speed matters more than a perfect sight picture. • Moving & shooting: escape, press, and fight-through movements while maintaining weapon control and accuracy. • Footwork and body mechanics for offense, retreat, and moving to/from cover. • Prioritization under stress: when to move, when to engage, and how to pair movement with effective shot placement. • Safety, legal considerations, and after-action review integrated into every drill. Course format & methods • Live-fire practical drills with progressive stressors (time, movement, malf simulation). • Repetition-based skill building and immediate instructor feedback. • Scenario-based sets that combine drawing, failure drills, movement, and decision making. • Emphasis on muscle memory, speed with accuracy, and safe manipulations under pressure. Required • Semi-automatic handgun (bring the firearm you train with). • Secure holster. • Minimum 3 magazines + magazine carry method (pouches, mag holster, etc.). • ~350 rounds of ammunition (approximate; bring extra). • Eye and ear protection. • Appropriate range clothing and footwear. Prerequisites • Defensive Handgun Level 1 (ExecPro Training) OR equivalent prior training that includes drawing from a holster and clearing malfunctions. • Instructor reserves the right to deny participation if fundamental skills are unsafe or insufficient. Logistics • Class length: 6–8 hours (full day) or two shorter sessions. • Student:instructor ratio: max 6:1 for safety and quality coaching. • Typical class size: 4–10 students. • Minimum age and legal requirements: students must comply with all local firearm laws and range rules. Safety & legal note All drills are conducted under strict safety protocols and RSO/Instructor supervision. No exception.
