The USCCA’s premier Emergency First Aid Fundamentals Class teaches you basic first aid and lifesaving techniques to be used in the event of a medical emergency. You will learn how to: Properly assess a patient Stop venous and arterial bleeding Clear a compromised airway Respond to head, chest, and spinal injuries, broken bones, burns, heart attacks, seizures, strokes, and more Build your own travel First Aid/Trauma Kit This class is not a guaranteed pass, if you attend. You must show that you have a good understanding of the material, follow the proper safety procedures at all times, and be a good steward for your fellow classmates. Please participate. I cannot appropriately evaluate your performance, unless you are engaged in all of the activities. **ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY** Absolutely no unsafe acts will be tolerated. If you commit an unsafe act, you will be asked to leave immediately. You will need to pay to take the class again, should you choose to do so. Note: NO REFUNDS. Once you sign up, if you must cancel your reservation, you may reschedule for a later date at no further cost.
